# ZEND Token

ZEND is a native token to the zkLend protocol. Token holders may use ZEND to participate in protocol governance and may enjoy benefits such as perks and access to the protool. Down the line, ZEND holders may stake their tokens in order to secure the protocols' bad debt and in turn earn fees.
